The IB Visual Art students participated in the Athens Engraving Art Center workshop, founded by Pino Pandolfini and Dimitra Siaterli on Sunday, December 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Galatsi, Athens.
The purpose for this workshop was to allow an opening to the students, who wish to engrave; it is a worthwhile experience both for their e-portfolio for the IBO final assessment and for their university entrance portfolio. Students can be an artist of gestures, who wish a spontaneous expression; is oppressed by the application of structured of striations and engravings, which are organized to the slightest detail.
The students were given a demonstration on the whole range of the basic engraving techniques and especially the copper engraving.
