"The unbelievable but true story of the lost suitcase and its magical adventure"
A long title for an enchanting journey through the myths and legends of several Latin American countries. That was the theme of the theatre play that the three Spanish classes (Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced) watched today at Fournos theatre. A small theatre that managed to take us very far away, to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean and to the shores of the Pacific Ocean by presenting tales of the indigenous people before and after the Conquest. The introduction in English was enlightening, the music from the Andes, the images from the rainforest and the pre-Colombian cultures as well as the European/Latin American cast, gave to this performance the taste and flavour of this diverse land that we so often talk about in our Spanish classes.
