Academic Programme

Overview

Working together in an English-speaking, international environment, students are able to develop the academic skills they need to prepare for higher education later on. They proceed from the child-oriented, multicultural and inter-related Kindergarten and Primary School to the academic challenge and life skills appropriate to the young adolescent in Middle School and finally to a rigorous course of study in the High School leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma or the ISA high school diploma.

Characterised by academic rigour and broad-based curricula, emphasis on internationalism and attention to the needs of the individual student, ISA offers a unique educational experience to a diverse student body. The international and multi-cultural approach makes it easy for students to make the transition to and from ISA when parents are transferred from one country to another. ISA, in addition to being an IB World School, is accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in the USA. Furthermore, the ISA high school diploma is recognized by the Greek Ministry of Education as equivalent to the Greek `apolytirio`.
