IB MYP & DP Chemistry Teacher
The International School of Athens is seeking a qualified and experienced IB MYP and DP Chemistry Teacher to join the Upper School faculty for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Brief Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry in both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), following the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing student work in line with IB standards, and contributing to departmental and whole-school initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
Applicants should:
- Hold a degree in Chemistry (Master’s degree preferred)
- Have at least two years of recent experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP Chemistry
- Be fluent in English, the language of instruction
- Be familiar with the use of educational technology and e-learning platforms
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to international education and inquiry-based learning

Upper School Administrative Assistant
The International School of Athens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to replace the Upper School Administrative Assistant (who will be on maternity leave) to support the efficient operation of the Upper School. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
- Maintain and organize student and faculty records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support school administration.
- Coordinate events such as Parent-Teacher Conferences and Graduation.
- Assist with faculty and student needs, including attendance tracking and substitute teacher coordination.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in administrative software and data management.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is preferred.

Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: International School of Athens
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support by troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network operating systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade hardware, software, network, and peripheral equipment
- Provide technical assistance during school events, including online exams and equipment setup
- Assist with new software and equipment deployment, as well as system setup and maintenance
- Monitor and respond to IT requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure the successful completion of all assigned daily tasks
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers when required
Requirements:
- Relevant educational background in Computer Science or a related field
- Documented experience in IT support roles
- 2 years of preferred experience providing technical assistance
- Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software
- Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 platform
- Strong knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure
- End user device support laptops, desktops, tablets (Windows 10/11, iPads, Apple laptops, printers)
- Experience with Audio Visual devices (Projectors, Interactive boards)
- Fluent in English
- Reliable, trustworthy, and demonstrates a strong work ethic
