On Monday 25th February 2013 Grade 3 visited the Fireman’s Museum in Pallini. The children were escorted around by a fireman who talked to them about the exhibits and gave them information on the history of the fire department in Greece. He also talked to them about the important role firemen play in our lives. The children had lot of questions about the everyday running of a fire station the equipment they use and the different situations they can be called to attend. At the end of our tour the fireman treated the children by allowing them to use the fire hose to throw water across the yard.
