Our 11th grade students participated in a 4 day educational trip in the area of Ancient Olympia. They had the opportunity to offer all the goods that we had collected as a school to the institutes that we support in Pyrgos and Lechaina, and to engage in deeply meaningful experiences with the disabled children and the elderly. They conducted field work and collected data for their experimental science courses at Lake Kaiafa and they visited the Ancient Olympia museum and historical site. Our students also attended workshops on CAS, English, TOK, and Science. It was an experiential learning activity and an enjoyable trip that touched upon our students’ personal growth and their academic development.
