Grade 11 students “explore” virtually the Asia Minor’s disaster in 1922

On Monday, April 12th, the IB Greek Language and Literature grade 11 students will meet virtually Ms. Irini Sarioglou, Associate Professor at Istanbul University in the Modern Greek Studies Department, co-founder and Head researcher at the Hellenic History Foundation (HHF/ ΙΔΙΣΜΕ) to discuss Asia Minor's disaster in 1922.

Also, a presentation of the historical documentary with the title "Letters never received" will be presented based on the book "The ten Days Diary" of Agapi Molyviatis-Venezis which describes her dramatic experience to save her brother's (Ilias Venezis) life from the war battalions during Asia Minor war.
