The 4th grade class went on a trip to the Marble Quarry on Thursday, Oct. 11th in Grammatiko. This is in collaboration with our unit, How Things Are Made. The class was able to observe how marble was cut and ground into sand and powder. We learned the many uses of marble and how the machines work to take the marble from the mountain.
