IB English B Year 1 Debate

On February 3, 2020, the IB English B Year 1 class conducted its first debate on the resolution: “Schools have the authority to impose a dress code on their students.” 

Opposing the resolution was Team A & Supporting the resolution was Team B.

Moderated by Mr. William Papatassos, the 90-minute debate offered the members of each team the opportunity to present arguments, ask questions, and offer counter-arguments.  After a heated and constructive debate, Team A prevailed.
