INTER-SCHOOLS COLLABORATIVE PROJECT: “Social Networks: A Current Issue.”

The ISA FRENCH L.A. class of Phases 5-6, Grades 9-10, participated in a program organized in collaboration with the corresponding classes and level in French language at Saint Joseph School on the topic of social networks, titled: “Social Networks: A Current Issue.”

As the first part of this program, students from both schools had an online meeting, providing them with the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange information about themselves, and learn about the educational programs of their respective schools. In the second phase, they met in person at both schools, where they presented and debated topics related to social media and the use of mobile phones at school.

Through this project, ISA students had the opportunity to engage with the French language and culture in a more interactive and dynamic way. Additionally, they met and socialized with peers their age, exchanging opinions, thoughts, and experiences on a topic that is highly relevant today-the use of technology by teenagers.

This experience also gave students the opportunity to develop essential skills and attributes throughout the preparation and implementation of the program, contributing to both their personal and academic growth, as well as their future professional lives. They became better communicators and collaborators, more open-minded, responsible, and autonomous in their learning.
