Bravo and Congratulations to all the ISA students, faculty and staff members who participated in the 29th Athens Classic Marathon Race that took place on Sunday November 13th . Even though the weather conditions were very difficult, our student body and teachers completed the race successfully due to their strong spirit and participation ethic.
We are proud to announce that Mr. Valvis, Ms. Zerva, Mr. Barrable and Ms. Kollias (Primary Teachers) completed the entire Marathon Race which is 42km 195m. Ms. Ioakimidou - Primary teacher, completed the 10km race and supported the Special Olympics Team.
Our students from the 11th grade ran the 5km race and at the same time raised 150 euros for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA Hellas) – Congrats to JJ. Muller, Marcia Gatzarou, Konstantina Nikolaides, Dafni Vouzi, Laura Barry, Nicholas Tzavos, Paul Triandafillides . Bravo also to the staff members who joined the students in the 5km race- Ms. Haniotakis, Ms. Metaxa, Ms. Traka and Mr. Trakas for their great spirit and effort at the race.
Special thanks also goes to all the ISA students who served as volunteers at the race: K. Ioannou, Juliette Rombotis, Alex Shaltout, Miranda Loubier, Danai Papadaki, Miruna Barbu, Giulia Kakavas and Mr. Vradis.
The organizer of the event congratulated our students for their great work during the race.
Well done to all! And Remember…. that participating in the Marathon you feel that you are a part of the Greek History.
