On Monday, January 23rd, grade 9 visited the National Gallery, as an educational art trip for Visual Arts and Greek, to see the sculpture works, 'Anthropocentrism'. It is to admire the human figure and its figurative depiction of Greek artists based on their studies and influences from Paris. The students will view academic sculptural styles, simplified and abstract forms which have led to an expressionistic rendering of the human figure.
