The Municipality of Kifissia recently hosted "Kifissia Climate Week," an initiative focused on the global challenges of climate change and sustainability. This program encouraged schools to actively promote climate resilience to raise student awareness, enhance communication skills, and foster collaboration within the educational community. Our school took part in this meaningful event, addressing critical environmental challenges in Kifissia, such as water management concerns, and the impact of urbanization on green spaces. Through research and teamwork, our students proposed practical solutions to promote a more sustainable Kifissia, including implementing community-wide recycling initiatives, the expansion of public green spaces, and encouraging energy-efficient practices. This event provided a valuable opportunity for our students to engage directly with pressing environmental issues and contribute thoughtful, actionable ideas toward building a greener, more sustainable future for our community. Well done to our MYP/DP students: Bitsopoulou Eleni, Michalaki Eleni, Almyroudi Marialena, Dadouki Amelie, Haddad Natalie, and Vengerets Milianna.
