UNICEF World Maths Day

ISA students from Middle & High School participating in the UNICEF World Education Games: World Maths Day

The UNICEF World Education Games are held from 6-8 March, and 5.5 million students from over 200 countries and territories will be participating.

This is an international competition which promotes the students/ spirit and enthusiasm towards Mathematics. It is an exciting online challenge for all our students, with our top students going up against the best in the world.
The World Education Games is the Olympics of education.  We believe that all students can gain valuable experience from their participation, irrespective of generated results. Therefore, ALL the students interested in participating were encouraged, and given the opportunity to do so.

At the same time an effort will be made to raise funds for UNICEF on a voluntary basis. We are uniting with schools around the world by combining our resources in order to give children in poor areas the opportunity to go to school. A “tags day” will be organized for this purpose on Wednesday, March the 7th. Any money brought in by students will be given to UNICEF, as our school’s donation to Schools for School-in-a-Box.  For more information, please visit   www.worldeducationgames.com
