On Wednesday, April 7th from 11.15 to 12.00, a group of Grade 10 students will virtually visit the European Parliament in Brussels and they will meet Mr. George Stylianou the General Director of Communication for a seminar-discussion on the European Parliament as an important forum for political debate and decision-making at the EU level. As part of their Service as Action awareness campaign about the European institutions, students will be informed as to how EU law-making and EU institutions are working democratically and the need of promoting democratic decision-making in Europe but also the urgent need of supporting the fight for democracy, freedom of speech and fair elections across the globe.
