On Wednesday, October 30th, a field trip was organized to the Vravrona wetland for grade 10 students.
The trip was part of the Service as Action program and also served as an introduction to the Ecology and Conservation unit in Biology. During the visit, members of the Hellenic Ornithological Society led students on a guided tour of the wetland, explaining its ecological significance, and conducted a bird-watching activity with telescopes to observe the local wildlife. Following the tour, students participated in a hands-on clean-up activity to help preserve the wetland area.
Finally, the group visited the Archaeological Site of the Temple of Artemis of Vravrona. This trip offered students both an educational and environmental service experience.
