World Poetry Day was celebrated at our school on March 21st. This is a special day, established by UNESCO, to celebrate poetry around the world!!
ISA students and teachers gathered in the theatre for about an hour to share poetry from around the world. Poems read aloud were in English, Bulgarian, French, Greek, German, Spanish, Filipino, Arabic and Vietnamese, thus not only showing that poetry can bridge all cultures but also how wonderfully diverse our student population is.
